What ranking uses
Budget compatibility and normalized measures of walkability proxies, amenities, outdoor access, quiet/activity balance, airport and healthcare access, broadband availability, and cost signals. Each completed result records scoring version 2026.09-demo-v1.
What ranking never uses
Race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, other protected characteristics, inferred demographic composition, or realtor payments. The server rejects prohibited profile fields and the scoring module has no sponsorship dependency.
Sources and freshness
Every production metric must retain source name, URL, retrieval date, effective year, geographic unit, usage note, and completeness status. Data import adapters are documented but live licensed datasets have not yet been integrated.
Language and interpretation
We avoid coded or subjective claims such as “safe,” “good schools,” and “perfect for families.” Metrics are attributable and limited. A high score means alignment to the selected inputs, not quality, safety, investment performance, or legal advice.
